Yes, we guide you step-by-step in growing your own fresh, organic produce — right in your backyard, front yard, or any patch of earth (or container!) you call home.
But we've always known this work goes deeper than food.
Gardening is one of the oldest forms of healing.
And in a world that moves faster every year — pulling us further from nature, from each other, from ourselves — that healing has never been more necessary.
At Grow Greenfingers, we believe the garden is a teacher. When you learn to tend living things through every season — through growth and decay, drought and abundance — you also learn to tend yourself.
You develop patience. Presence. A quiet confidence that comes from knowing how to nurture life from the ground up.
Our goal is to give you the tangible skills and rooted knowledge to grow and maintain a thriving edible garden, and to help you rediscover your connection to the natural world in the process. Because when we work in true partnership with the Earth, something shifts — in our ecosystems, in our communities, and in us.
This is what it means to grow plants and people. For good.
No green thumb required- just curiosity and a love for good food.

My roots in this work go deeper than a decade of consulting — they go back generations.
My Bavarian ancestors carried their farming knowledge across the Atlantic when they immigrated to New Orleans in the 19th century.
Those traditions lived on in my family's gardens for generations... until, quietly, they disappeared.
By the time I came along — a classic 90s latchkey kid — I genuinely thought vegetables came from cans. I was overfed and undernourished, and nobody in my world was asking why?? Except me.
I played in my mom's and grandma's gardens as a child, but food was never something we grew. That connection had been lost somewhere in the generational exchange.
It took the devastation of Hurricane Katrina to wake it up.
Experiencing that loss as a young person in New Orleans cracked something open in me.
For the first time, I understood what it meant to be disconnected from the land — and what it could cost us. That season of loss became a turning point. I went to college with a new sense of purpose, studying plants and people, and founded the first Campus Community Garden where I could learn by doing, alongside others who were just as hungry to grow something real.
The garden grew me right back.
That was the beginning of over 10 years of hands-on work as a consultant, coach, and master garden manager throughout the New Orleans metro — helping families not just grow food, but reclaim a way of living that feels grounded, intentional, and deeply nourishing. I'm a Louisiana Master Gardener, a Certified Gardenary Consultant, and the proud founder of Grow Greenfingers Edible Gardens.
I'm not just teaching you to garden. I'm helping you come home to a healing way of life.
A clear four-step path from first conversation to a thriving, edible garden you love.
